What convinced ECLEVA to come up with the Asset Financial Calculator?
With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic there were a high number of companies who expected to be in a hardship position and requested relief from their finance companies.
There was no standard model to deal with this relief and to calculate the future payments and schedules for these loans so we implemented this calculator in just a few weeks. This enabled some of our finance customers to process the hardship requests in a much more efficient manner.
We saw COVID-19 as an immediate need but also saw that having an online calculator that could quote and produce an amortisation schedule would be beneficial to finance brokers and equipment resellers. Therefore we fleshed out the development by building a full calculation engine that included structured payments. We are looking at embedding this quote engine into an online CRM system to help brokers and resellers more easily produce quotes for their clients.
